Physical Infrastructure and Low-Current Systems
The site’s cable, cameras, door access, and building control are installed as one arrangement. It does not show on a screen. The building depends on it.

Definition
Physical infrastructure is the site’s communications and control lines. Low current is the name of those lines, kept apart from power. The fibre backbone is the main cable between buildings and floors. Copper horizontal cabling is the part that runs from that cable to the outlet in a room.
CCTV is watching and recording through cameras. Access control is who may pass which door, by card or a similar right. BMS is the building management system: climate, lighting, and similar building control are watched from there. Exiplus designs this arrangement across the site, installs it, and operates it.

Technology layer
The standard comes first.
Infrastructure and security are not tied to one manufacturer. The design follows common corporate standards. The manufacturer is chosen for the organisation’s scope.
Competence is defined in the areas below. The manufacturer is chosen from the solution partners, according to the organisation’s scope.
Network
LAN, routing, SD-WAN, and redundant WAN access.
Cybersecurity
Firewall, NAC, endpoint security, and central log management.
Data center
Virtualisation, workload consolidation, and cloud services.
Physical infrastructure
Fibre and copper structured cabling, CCTV, and access control.
Software
Process automation and system integration, built for the organisation.
